Mdura Performs at Comedy Session Attended by Current Sitting Cabinet

Mbabane, Eswatini — Local comedian Mdura recently performed at a comedy session attended by members of the Cabinet of Eswatini, including the Prime Minister of Eswatini, in an informal setting following official Cabinet engagements.

The session took place after a day of government business and provided a relaxed environment where humour formed part of the evening’s programme. Images shared on social media showed Mdura alongside senior government leaders, highlighting a moment away from formal settings.

In a post accompanying the images, Mdura described the experience as an opportunity to engage beyond titles and official positions, noting the role of humour in creating space for connection and reflection.

The engagement has drawn attention online for offering a rare glimpse of the current sitting Cabinet in a non-official environment, underscoring how creative arts such as comedy continue to play a role in public life beyond entertainment alone.

No official statement was issued by government following the session.
